first off... the hotel

I had to post pictures of the hotel we stayed in for the wedding.

Now, when you stay in hotels as much as we do - you start to get a little picky. You want the rooms to be very clean, the amenities to be there, and the beds to be comfortable. This hotel had all of those things and more.

It was an old hotel/building that was very newly refurbished and is beautiful. I didnt get many pictures outside of our room, so you'll have to go to the Stoneleighs website for more. Check out the penthouse if you have a chance... thats where Michael stayed.

We were greeted with a welcome bag overflowing with Texas-related goodies.... including lots of snacks and chocolate that I was particularly fond of. Even a pack of cards to play some Texas Hold Em.

And the bed. Oh the bed. We slept til 9AM one morning in this bed! ! This is pretty amazing since we're usually up at 6:30AM or earlier.

And check out the bathroom. Love the tiles.

And the flat screen plasma that was always on this weird screen saver/classical music station when we came back to our room. A little weird. I think we have an energy-saving measure we could recommend to them if they're looking to cut back on costs (something tells me they're not).
That might of been a little much for just the description of the hotel - but hey... it left an impression. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever in need of a hotel in Dallas!
