rockin and rollin with mommy!
I ran the Raleigh Rocks Half Marathon a few weeks ago and Jim and the girls surprised me at the finish line! I thought they were home in their PJs but nope, they were screaming my name and jumping up and down at the finish line.
easter in apex
The easter bunny treated us well this year. It started with a box from Nana and Pop Pops full of yummy candy and masa's with the hard boiled egg in the middle. The easter bunny filled their baskets with fun spring stuff like chalk and bubbles and even KITES! Kites are pretty huge with us right now - not sure how he knew that, but he did! They came in handy at the beach the next week.
The bunny also left a trail of eggs around the house since it was raining outside. The girls had such a fun time finding the eggs scattered all over. After our egg finding and some breakfast we got ready for church in our matching monogrammed dresses. Not sure how many years I have of them wanting to wear matching dresses, but for now they love it.
After church we headed to Grammie and Grandads for another easter egg hunt and a great lunch. The girls LOVE finding eggs in their huge yard.
Such a great Easter yet again. The weather held out for us and we had a great time with family. Thank you easter bunny for everything!

We took a day trip to the fabulous NC Zoo with our friends Raley and Bertie and had so much fun. We saw all kinds of great animals and enjoyed a beautiful spring day with some great friends. Can't wait to go back!
How cute are these girls? Not sure if the elephants are girls ... but we'll assume they are!
