sleeping with the enemy

Maddie and Tucker continue to have a love/hate, well love/tolerate relationship. She loves him, he tolerates her. He prefers to stay outside an arm length perimeter of her at all times. But he does have his "drive by lick" with her down. He will walk up, give her a quick lick and keep walking before she has the chance to grab a handful of fur and pull.

Poor guy. He tries to stay out of the way and mind his own business, but Jim just won't let him. Here he is taking a nap on Monday. He was minding his own business on our bed under the covers (ok, Jim pulled the blanket up over him) and Jim decided that Maddie should "nap" with him.

Oh- and for the Tuckerfans out there. We FINALLY brought him in to get groomed this week and he looks SO nice. I'll try to take some pictures of him today so you all can see how handsome he looks. He HATES getting brushed or bathed or groomed in any way, shape or form so we tend to go a little too long between haircuts. As a result, by the time we bring him in we're so embarassed by how he looks that we have to tell the groomer he is a stray we found on the side of the road. No, just kidding. Well sort of kidding.
