Madelyn was dedicated at our church today and what a great day it was! Both sets of grandparents came into town just for the event and we were so thankful we were able to share this time with them and our friends.

The service was so sweet. It was themed to children and family and the children at Maddie's school sang 3 songs (and there is just NOTHING cuter than 3-4 yr olds singing) and then 6 babies were dedicated (we are having quite the baby boom at our church right now). Our childrens minister said some special words just for Maddie and then the whole congregation sang a song with her name in it. Then she was walked around the congregation by another one of the ministers for a little "meet and greet" as they are supposed to be watching out for her after all. :) She did GREAT. No fussing or crying and was just as sweet as could be.

We went to our house after for a little celebration. Just the grandparents and a few friends. It was so nice to have mom here to help with the food (who am I kidding... all I did was grate the carrots - she did the rest of the meal).

We're so happy Diego came over to celebrate. We wish he could come over every day and play. I need to get his mommy and daddy to tell me how to raise such a sweet, well-behaved child.

And we're so happy the Lopez Fam came to the service and over to our house after to celebrate. Here they are... aren't they just the best looking family you've ever seen!

So we're having a great time with Nana and Pop-Pops here. We're trying to stretch out the days and make them 48 hours long instead of just 24 but losing an hour this morning didn't help much. Im trying to remember to take lots of pictures and will post them all at some point soon.
