princess time!

After the parade on Saturday night, we got to meet some pretty important princesses.
Rapunzel

Cinderella

Sleeping Beauty
The girls were very excited... and very talkative.  I think they would have talked their ears off if we had let them!

Disney fun!

Day two was packed with even more fun. Hit the brand new Toy Story ride and the Muppet Show of course (mommy's Fav) at Hollywood Studios and the oh-so-awesome Disney Jr show which featured our very favorite Sophia the First AND Doc McStuffins!!!

Couldn't help but go back to Magic Kingdom to catch the Electric Parade!

Happiest place on earth... 2013 version

The Herndons have once again hit Disney and are having a blast! After a long delay getting here... We finally made it and are happy to take in the warmth and sun and FUN!

Day one consisted of a fun plane ride, an even more fun trip on the magical express from the airport to Disneyworld and then the afternoon and evening at Magic Kingdom.

Unfortunately we got to the park right at peak heat and crowd time (it was in the 80s!) so we decided to take it easy and just take in a few rides and new sites.

We were able to do the teacups (always a fun classic), its a small world, Aladdins magic carpets, the jungle cruise, and the train around the park before dinner. We ate outside at Pinocchio's Restaurant overlooking the beautiful carousel and Cinderellase castle while the sun was setting and it was such a beautiful site. After dinner we got a great spot for the electrical parade and the girls we just both in awe of what they saw. Maddie in particular loved waving to Alice in Wonderland, the princesses and even Captain Hook and having them wave back to her. Sheer joy.

We're only a half day in and I'm just so glad we came. Can't wait for tomorrow!

boosterthon fun!

Maddie's school had a boosterthon fun run to raise money for the school.
There she goes!
There she is cheering Gustavo along telling him... come on!
Go Maddie!!!!
Gustavo, Maddie and Evie

They all did such a great job and it was a lot of fun to watch! I was really surprised at how well Maddie ran and how she didnt want to stop and take breaks like the other kids did.  I cant wait for her to run with me! :)

Quick trip to New England

Mommy had a business trip in Providence and so Caroline and mommy had a really fun trip visiting Nana, pop pops and the Marshall's! Mommy went to work while NAna and Pop Pops spent the day with little Caroline.

She had a blast being an only child for a few days and loved the attention.

She got to go ice skating, see Santa and just do all sorts of fun things.

Disney on Ice... Awesome

Disney sure does know how to put on a show!! They never disappoint, that's for sure.

We took Grammie and Grandad to see Disneys Rockin Ever After and I think everyone really enjoyed it!

Maddie spent the entire first half on Grandads lap while Caroline liked being a big girl and having her own seat.

Maddies favorite part was Belle and Caroline's was Ariel... And both girls dressed like Ariel for the show. :)

singing angel

Maddie performed with her children's choir at church a few Sundays ago and was absolutely perfect. She looked beautiful and made is so proud!!

our first parade

We felt kind of famous.

The girls and I got to march in the Holly Springs Christmas Parade last weekend with Sonshine Gymnastics. It was loads of fun. Caroline bailed out about halfway through when she saw Jim on the street, but Maddie did great and even did cartwheels to the cheers of all the fans on the street. It was super cute.

topping the tree

We went against tradition this year (the littlest puts the star on the tree) because Caroline declined.

Maddie stepped up and did the job quite well.
